Memorial Day

When my brother was a toddler he would wander off which was totally against the rules. We were not allowed to leave the parameters of our yard. Which was a good sized place to play. Plus we had trees to climb, and some landscape to hide in. Yet he always wandered farther than he was supposed to. One day, my mom asked him why he kept wandering off and tried to explain to him that this frightened her because she didn’t know where he was and if he was safe. His reply was “I know where I am.”

Today as we pause our daily routines to Honor all our loved ones who have passed from our world and now reside with the Spirits, here is a song to comfort us that those we miss so much know where they are and they know they are safe “In the Arms of the Angels.”

Very nicely written, you have a wonderful way of telling.

  3. One of my favorite Sarah McLachlan songs. It fits for this Memorial Day, definitely!
