Passion is a deep, soul-level zeal for something. We often channel and/or express it towards someone(s), but it’s actually all about something; companionship, emotional stability, financial security, physical safety or spiritual certainty. I’ve often heard that depression is anger without energy, but I think true depression is despair without passion. When we lose our passion, we no longer have the deep soul-level fervor necessary to act upon our beliefs.
Yesterday I pointed out the difference between giving-up and letting go. When we give-up, we’re sacrificing our passion, but when we let go, we’re allowing our soul to rest while still maintaining our passion. This is especially true when it comes to spiritual matters, but, it’s true of all areas of life. Passion is the ardor which keeps us focused on our divine potential. In order to achieve divine potential, we must first follow our bliss; find that place at the very bottom of our soul where pure contentment resides and then nurture every thing which intensifies and brings forth that contentment. Follow the trail of bread crumbs of all the little every things which gradually lead to bigger and better until our life is filled with only things which we are passionate about. True manifestation is filling our lives with only things we are passionate about and then using these passions to fulfill our deepest desires. When this happens, the passion spills over into the lives of others, we become the change we want to see in the world.
So, my message for today is, don’t ever sacrifice your passion. Whatever you’re passionate about, no matter how small or silly it might be, don’t lose the passion you feel. Passion is the seed of every great manifestation.
